Academic Plagiarism Prevention Programs

ITHENTICATE: Regarding “Preventing Plagiarism”, which has an important place among the academic community; It is a program with a comprehensive academic content directly related to the evaluation of academic publications (except student assignments) provided by TÜBİTAK-Ulakbim. Access definitions of the relevant platform will be made by our library. An account can be opened for users with an academic degree of “doctor” and above. Our academicians who want to use the program should send their name, surname and e-mail address to aysegul.k@beun.edu.tr.

INTIHAL.NET : Academic Plagiarism (www.intihal.net) is a domestic program produced in Turkey to detect the similarity rate in academic studies. It is an internet-based similarity detection and reporting software specialized for detecting many types of plagiarism. With intihal.net, you can perform the originality test of your work in 3 steps. Intihal.net supports different file formats. Institutions that are members of the program can benefit from the system without any limitations in terms of both document type and number of documents. TURNITIN:  Turnitin, a comprehensive comparison database, offers similarity checking and online evaluation for student assignments and theses. Graduate and doctoral students and thesis advisors who wish to use the program can contact the library at 0372 291 27 70.
